Die Post-Hardcore / Progressive Rock-Band SEVEN NINES AND TENS hat nach dem Video-Clip zu “Popular Delusions” mit “Throwing Rocks at Mediocrity” einen zweiten Track ihres kommenden Albums “Over Opiated in a Forest of Whispering Speakers” veröffentlicht. Es ist nach “Habitat 67” (2011) und “Set the Controls for the Heart of the Slums” (2016) das dritte Album der Kanadier aus Vancouver – und das erste mit Gesang.
“Over Opiated in a Forest of Whispering Speakers” wurde bei Raincity Recorders in Vancouver aufgenommen und von Adam Veenendaal gemixt und gemastert. Das Cover-Artwork stammt von Ahmed Emad Eldin (u.a. für PINK FLOYD tätig). Erscheinen wird das Album am 7. Januar 2022 via Willowtip Records.
SEVEN NINES AND TENS sind Gitarrist und Sänger David Cotton, Bassist Maximillian Madrus sowie Drummer Alexander Glassford.
