In wenigen Wochen wird mit “Rat City Dog Boy” das neue Album der Punk Rock-Band ROTTEN MIND erscheinen. Es ist bereits das vierte Album der 2015 zueinander gefundenen Schweden.
Wie es der Titel ein Stück weit vorwegnimmt, handelt “Rat City Dog Boy” vom Stadtleben, wie Gitarrist und Sänger Jakob Arvidsson erklärt: “We practically live on the streets, in the bars and in our rehearsal room in Uppsala; the dark and twisted city with a long history of rock music and especially punk. For us, taking inspiration from the nights in Uppsala and putting it on tape was an essential part of writing this album.”
Neben Jakob Arvidsson sind auch Bassist Rune Strömbom, Gitarrist Johan Sverredal und Drummer Victor Nordin Teil von ROTTEN MIND.
“Rat City Dog Boy” von ROTTEN MIND wird am 7. Februar 2020 via Lövely Records erscheinen. Vorab gibt es ein Video von “Beat of the Street” und den Track “Not One of You” zu hören.
