Die Sleaze Rock-Band PATRÓN hat mit “Jump in the Fire” in einen weiteren Video-Clip von ihrem aktuellen und selbstbetitelten Album veröffentlicht.
Zuvor sind schon Videos zu “Room With A View” und “Who Do You Dance For” erschienen. Frontmann Lo könnte sich letztgenannten Track als “opening score to Roberto Rodriguez´s next feature film” vorstellen, “if it were set in a post-apocalyptic and degenerative Las Vegas where the only chance of salvation is Barry White´s resurrection.”
“Patrón” ist das erste Album des neuen Projekts rund um Sänger, Gitarrist und Keyboarder Lo (LOADING DATA), der sich bei den Aufnahmen eine Reihe von Freunden mit ins Studio holte: so etwa Drummer Joey Castillo (BLOODCLOT, Ex-DANZIG), Drummer Barrett Martin (MAD SEASON, SCREAMING TREES, TUATARA), Bassist NICK OLIVERI (MONDO GENERATOR, Ex-KYUSS, Ex-QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE), Gitarrist Aurélien Barbolosi (ASTON VILLA) oder Sängerin Monique St Walker (BLACKBIRD DAYS).
Das Debütalbum von PATRÓN wurde von Alain Johannes (u.a. für QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE tätig) im Studio 11AD in Los Angeles produziert und ist am 29. Mai 2020 via Klonosphere erschienen.
