Die Alternative / Desert Rock-Band OHNOVA wird in den kommenden Tagen ihre neue EP “I Can´t Sleep” veröffentlichen. Es ist die erste Veröffentlichung des 2017 gegründeten Trios aus Glasgow bestehend aus Paul Morton (Bass & Gesang), Matthew Sharp (Gitarre) und Ciaran Whyte (Drums). Vorab hat die Band Video-Clips zu den Tracks “Banjo Mac“, “Heavy Smile” und “Easy Way Out” veröffentlicht.
OHNOVA erklären dazu: “Each song, in it´s own way presents a bad situation, but ultimately recognises that you need to fight, move forward and ultimately find the strength to get yourself through. That´s what I hope these songs do for the listener because I know that´s what rock music has done for us our whole lives. This is why we make the lighthearted and (in our opinion) funny videos. It´s taking the darkness of life and laughing at it. It´s the recognition that life isn´t all bad, you need to power through the bad to reach the good that will inevitably come around again.”.
