Do you know this band ALKEMYST? No. It´s a shame and I invite you to discover the first album of a french metal band.
First, What´s cool is that for a first autoproduced album, it has a good sound and we hear very well each instrument (even the bass!) and ideas are here :
beautiful melodies, good riffs, solos, acoustics, slow, fast moments...and well executed. The singer Roberto Messina has composed beautiful vocal lines and well singed - I find them better than Secret Sphere´s last album -
You find in this album some catchy chorus :´It´s time´, ´Up to heaven´s gate´ et ´Hold on to your dreams´; the slow : ´Meeting in the mist´, good riffs : ´Nameless Son´,´Still Alive´, ´Up to heaven´s gate´, originals moments : ´Empty skies´
and a lot of good things...
To end, my favorite is the last track (the most prog´ of the album) : ´Nameless Son´
Don´t hesitate and get it!
