…Iced Earth´s first set of shows promoting their album Horror Show now begin in the United States in September, playing with metal legends Judas Priest and Anthrax. This has the chance to be a big break for the band in America, as they will finally have the opportunity to showcase their powerful brand of metal to many who may not have heard the band before. They will hit many cities they haven´t had a chance to play in the past, and on top of that, will be playing at venues that seat up to 20,000 people! Once the ball gets rolling, anything can happen…
Although this is a great opportunity for the band, there is one unfortunate consequence. Since the US tour starts in mid-September, the European tour dates will have to be rescheduled. Jon Schaffer will issue a personal statement regarding the matter within a few days. Needless to say, the band highly values their fans in Europe, and will do their best to make it up to them.
Since all of this is fairly short-notice, we ask everyone (Americans and Europeans) to spread the word as best they can, so that all of Iced Earth´s fans (and potential fans) can stay informed. Thanks!
